Peas and Harmony Pod Practice Together Club
Peas and Harmony Pod Practice Together Club
December 1, 2024 9:00 am - 9:30 am
zoom
This event is for Peas and Harmony Pod members only.
Join me and your pod friends for a practice session. We will take 5 minutes to organise what we each want to work on in the practice session, then each mute ourselves and practice for 20 minutes, and then come back to spend 5 minutes or so sharing any thoughts. The practice together Club is a no-pressure opportunity to meet up with other harpists, just to help us make time to practice. Rosie x

Practice Together with Angela - Interleaved Game
Practice Together with Angela - Interleaved Game
December 2, 2024 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
zoom
With so much discussion in How To Harp around different ways to practice I am structuring my practice together sessions a bit differently - as an Interleaved Practice Game
(Those who just wish to join and practice another way are more than welcome to simply practice as normal)
Here is how our practice session will look:
10 minutes: Sharing our intentions and getting organised
40 minutes: Muted Practice for the Interleaved Practice Game of five 8 minute sessions ( see below)
10 minutes: Reflection and sharing
ABOUT THE GAME: You will need to plan your practice for our game before you start. Write the numbers 1 to 5 down ( perhaps in a practice journal). Now assign a practice task that you will focus on for 8 minutes to each task. You can repeat some of the same tasks. Make sure you have all you need to practice these switch between tasks easily. At the start of the session I will tell you what order the numbers are going to be practiced in. We then practice for 40minutes and switch task every 8 minutes. ( you will need to use your own timer).
